This may seem worthless, but really, its awesome! Ever get tired of that boring blue colour your games based on? Well, look no further! Its easy-peasy! All you have to do is turn on your game boy, either press the up and down arrow keys, left and right...e.t.c. Then,right before your very eyes the screen changes colour!Theres loads of different colours so you will have to experiment.Theres even one which makes dark places light! So you don't have to bother with flash!HAVE FUN!But its only temporary, so you can keep changing colours! Hope this helps... NOTE:THIS ONLY WORKS WITH POKEMON BLUE UNFORTUNATELY(I think it might only work on the SP but im not sure,so try it out anyway.)

Restart your game and play until you get HM02 Fly from the house west of Celadon City (or just beat the third gym and get the badge that lets you use fly out of battle and trade pokemon that know fly to the new game).
IMPORTANT!!: DO NOT fight the following trainers: The Youngster with a Slowpoke (level 17) on the road to Bill's house(Route 25). He is the fourth trainer after you cross Nugget Bridge, standing directly above a female trainer and facing north. The Gambler with two poliwags and a poliwhirl (all level 22) between Lavender Town and Saffron City (Route 8). He is standing just east of the entrance to Saffron City, facing north toward the door of the Underground Path. Care fully follow the series of steps illustrated below...
Make sure you have a pokemon that knows FLY. Make sure you have a level 5 or 6 pokemon and a pokemon that knows SLEEP on your team. Stock up with pokeballs (Great Balls work the best). Now Save your game before you enter Route 8 since saving after this point will disrupt the procedure.
On Route 8, stand in front of the door of the Underground Path (don't let the gambler see you or you will need to restart where you last saved). Walk down one step and IMMEDIATELY press start. If you succeed, the menu will pop up before the Gambler "sees" you. Go to the Pokemon list and fly to Cerulean City. The Gambler will see you just before you fly away. Your Start button will no longer function. Go north across Nugget Bridge and head east until you find the Youngster described above.
If you walk right up to the Youngster, the game will lock up, so you'll have to let him see you and walk up to you. Defeat his Slowpoke(afterwards your start button will work again), then fly to Lavender Town. Head west into Route 8. As soon as you enter the narrow path, the menu will pop up by itself. Press B to exit. . . and a wild Mew should appear. Mew will be at Level 7 and its only attack will be Pound. Get'em! Once you've caught Mew, you can save without any ill effects!

does anyone know how to actually get the REAL mew because ive heard all sorts of crap like dont battle the lv 17 slowpoke and fly in front of the gambler when i used to play in '98 there was this cheat supposedly you had too not get on the s s anne and get a friend to trade you a pokemon that knows CUT, beat the game come back surf to the right of anne and use strengh to move the truck and BAM theres a lv 5 mew. i need some one to tell me the truth.

First you do the missingo cheat. catch it, then save and turn off. When you're turing the gameboy on. you'll have a mew lvl 40 on you!!! ( you got to have missingo on you before saving)

1. Ice/Psychic like Jynx 2. Dragon like Dragonite 3. Psychic like Alakazam 4. Water like Blastoise THAT ALSO KNOWS AN ICE OR GROUND ATTACK, like Ice Beam or Dig 5. Ground pokemon that knows Fire Blast, like Golem 6. Water pokemon that knows Thunderbolt like Starmie
7. In general, any pokemon that knows an attack that doesn't match its type.
A pokemon is always more effective if it knows an attack that lingers after battle, such as:
And confused pokemon are always more vulnerable during battle. (dizzy punch, supersonic, confuse ray especially)
And accuracy attacks, although it does not linger, can render an opponent's pokemon useless (sand attack, Flash, etc.) also Double Team and agility can increase your pokemon's chance of evading the attack.

He will ask u to battle him-- (you battle) you beat him and then u go catch a dratini and raise it to level 23...after that you give it 2 rare candys and then put it in box 4....take it out nd it will be level 1023..(it rlly works!!)

The only pokemon that is invincible is almost inpossible to get since you need GameShark and it might damage your saved game. you need to create a pokemon with these types: Pyschic, Dragon. Then you need these moves: Psychic, Blizzard, Fire Blast, Recover

first get in to the safarizone then walk out the man will ask leaving early say no walk out again say no save the game then turn your game off and on walk out of the safari he will ask if your willing to go back in for 500$ say no and then fly to cinnabarisland and surf up&down on those rocks then in 2minutes pa ding dong will come up. go down in till you reach a glich city if it frezes just fly away. PS. i saved my game in there and it got mucked up BY.CALUM
