- first you hvae to teach a pokemon fly and surf. - then you go to the old man when he askes if you are in a hurry say no. - after he shows you how to catch a pokemon fly to cinnabar island - put an item that you what more of in the 6th item spot by pressing the select button and using the arrows to move it. - surf up and down the right side of the island. when you run into ''m'' or missego battle it or run I don't care which but when you go to th items you will see 130 of th item. P.S. this is a way to catch pokemon over level 100 too.

To get Mew you most start a new game. When you get to Cerulean City get an Abra or trade one. Beat all 5 Nuggetbridgetrainers. Go to the guy in the grass side the bridge. NOT BATLE HIM! Stand in front of him. Save there! Take one step down and press start qickly. Use teleport and he say "!".Now: Beat Misty's first trainer and go up NUGGETBRIDGE. The startmenu will pop up. Press b and Mew will batle you... Use the pokeball and press UP and A. The pokeball will be a masterball after some tries. Mew is on level 7 and everything it knows is pound. But it can learn all hm's and tm's...

Few thing I'll clear up before I start: 1. I haven't tried this, but it was a bit of a research thing that I've found on a Missingno site that DOES have sense in it. 2. As bored as I am, I'm not like the other freeaks who keep spamming this place, I have some sense in me, and I'm not going to make up crap for you guys to take your time to read, try it, become utterly dissapointed and cuss me out over it. As much spam as this site has SOMEONE is going to read it I suppose. 3. I'm not some 10 year old little kid that sits around playing video games all the time (no offense to anyone out there), so don't think that I am; I'm older and more mature then that. But, hey, a girl gets bored.
__ M'kay, now on to the tips/hints/whatever you wish to call them.
As I've recently found out, Missingno was created in a very simple way (this won't take long, I promise): The creators of Red and Blue did not specify what kinds of Pokemon can be found at the sliver of land on Cinnabar Island; which is why you can find pretty much any Pokemon there (ex. Safari Zone pkmn). This connects to the Old Man who catches the weedle because in the battle, YOUR name is not used, therefore your name stats must be stored somewhere. Thus, you name stats are stored in the blank box that supposed to hold what kind of Pokemon you can find on that sliver of land (no, it's not a real blank box..figure of speach).
Now, the letters in your name tell you what kind of pkmn you will get. Letters 2, 4, and 6 of your name will determine what level the pkmn you run into will be. Each letter of the alphabet stands for one number. The patter is simple A=1 B=2 C=3 etc. for UPPERCASE letters you add 127 (127 plus your letter's number) , for lowercase you add 159 (159 plus your letter's number). Symbols are different though: ) 155 : 156 ; 157 [ 158 ] 159 PK 209 MN 210 ? 239 P(monetary symbol) 240 x(times sign) 241 . 242 ? 245
Also, at the end of your name, the game inserts an 80 (HEX 50) to designate "End of Name". Because of how the variables are used, this means that one of the levels your Missingno. (or glitched 'M name) will be is always L80.

Now for a test: -Name: PIKACHU Letters 2, 4, and 6 (levels): 2: I = 9 + 127 = 136 4: A = 1 + 127 = 128 6: H = 8 + 127 = 135 Letters 3, 5, and 7 (species): 3: K = Kingler on chart 5: C = Golbat on chart 7: U = Abra on chart Combining the numbers, the name "PIKACHU" should yield L136 Kingler, L128 Golbat, and L135 Abra. Test it out; it does.
The name DxDyDzD will give you Mewtwo at levels 183-185.

ok....you need to not battle theese 2 trainers
-the youngster 4th trainer after nugget bridge....he's facing upwards and has a level 17 slowpoke
-the gambler between lavender town and the underground pass that takes you from there to celadon....he's facing the entrance to the underground path...
when you've got fly....go to route 8 and stand directly in front of the door to the underground path leading to celadon. (you should preferably save your game now). take one step down and straight away press start. pick your pokemon that knows fly and fly back to cerulean city. the gambler should see you as you fly away. your start button will now not work. when you get to cerulean city go up nugget bridge to where the youngster with the slowpoke is. don't walk directly in front of him....let him walk up to battle you....if you walk straight in front of him the game will freeze. once you have battled him your start button will work again....fly back to lavender town and walk left to route 8. your start menu should pop up. once you close it you will be confronted by a wild mew level 7. now just catch him and stuffs....yer....it's cool.
After beating the Elite Four, GO to Cerulean town-the town where you beat Misty- and travel to the part where you couldn't go before. (the part where the guy blocks the entrance to the cave) but of course it works nowm, that you've beaten the Elite 4.
You'll have to travel a quite a long time and at the end, there's one small island in the cave, you'll see a small pokemon standing there. Make sure you have a masterball with you and just talk to it, and capture it!

first go to your items then press select on the item that u want to duplicate switch it with the 6th item then go to viridian city talk to the old man that shows u how to catch a pokemon then go to cinabar island go to the side of the city what faces seaform islands surf up and down until u find a pokemon named "m" or "missinango" run from it then go to your items there should be 9 of the 6th item do this repeatedly until u have 99 this is a easier way to get 99 masterballs to catch any pokemon

Then go to cinibar island and surf so you are on half land half water. Keep surfing until you fight a pokemon "missingno" when you encounter him run away and the item that you put in the six spot you will have ninty nine of.
