One problem with leveling up, is that if you are fighting monsters with an equal or lesser level than you, you will get about 1-10 points, but you need 1000 to level up. Also, if you have weak teem members, even if they don't fight, they still get most of the experience points. To level up easier, fight with any opponents until level five. After that, generate random gates, until you hit a gate with monsters that are 1-3 levels more strong than you. Also, it might help to get team members which are equal to your level, or to get team-mates that are stronger than you. This way, you will get most of the experience points, and if your team-mates levels are really high, you just have to run around, and let your teammates do the work. Also, to get more experience points, DON'T use data drain, because it lowers the monsters levels, therefor giving you less experience.

When you are trying to get stronger, using your method, or the method I posted as Raycorp88, I learned, that you need to get strong weapons, so that you do not need to level up so much. Also, when you reach the maximum level, the only way to get stronger is to use better weapons. Though you can get better weapons by going to the weapon shop, there is a level limit to buying weapons. A better way to do this, is in the first server, generate random gates until you find Springs that Monseirs, or Grandpas come out of. Switch to your weakest weapon. Throw in your strongest weapon, ands when he asks if you lost a golden axe or silver axe, choose neither. Though sometimes, depending on weather, you may level down you weapon, usually you will get a stronger weapon, and usually, if your weapons level down, the next time they will level up twice. Eventually, the raindrop like monster will say, "Between you and me, with a weapon of this level, there is nothing I can do". If this happens, go to a higher level.
In the 2nd World, as you begin to enter a high level field, if you raised a grunty, push Triangle repediatly, as fast as you can, then when the screen comes up, summon a grunty and find the well. Do no get off the grunty until you are at the well, and all monsters are a while away.
