go to the mine of cathuriges fight the first guy to the right get his pheonix down exit area come back (reapeat as long as desired) p.s. it might take a while. i think u should at least do this 30-40 times or more or less does not really matter. not really infinte but good luck gamers

Reward = Depends on result | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ Head to Leuda and talk to the children in the south west of the village. If your character is a Selkie, you can play the game.
The rules of the game are very simple. Your character repeatedly jumps up and down on a net. At regular intervals the children shout the buttons you need to press.
Although only the "A" and "B" buttons are used on the Gamecube controller, the difficulty increases by making you enter combos of the two.
Points are awarded after each successful jump and the game ends when a wrong button is pressed.

This must be completed to reach the game's final area- The Abyss.
Through the game, you'll frequently bump into a curly-haired traveller named Gurdy. Each time you meet him, he will recite a poem for you. Although almost everything he says is a lie, his poems are all too true, and are the key to finding the mystery element. His poem goes:
Lightning brings the cactus pain Now it all begins again Of crumbled inn few remenisce Its faulty beams will not be missed Lonely mushroom bursts to flame In the land that quicksands claim Three rocks await the winter's kiss One by one they find their bliss In the end shall bloom a flower Sacred light reveals its power
Every two lines represents a new objective to be completed toward getting the mystery element. To find it, head for the Lynari Desert (first accessible in year 5). Note that these steps must be done in order. Also, all this takes place in the dungeon's first area, but all over it, so you will have to clear out some enemies before or during this process, especially for needed Magicite.
1. Head to the northeastern part of the map. Look for a large cactus that you're able to examine. Cast Thunder on it. Thundara and Thundaga also work. 2. Head east until you find a collapsed tent. Cast Gravity, Gravira, or Graviga on it. 3. Head further east until you find a mushroom shaped rock that you're able to examine. Cast Fire, Fira, or Firaga on the rock. 4. Go west until you find three rocks close together, each one is examineable. Cast Blizzard, Blizzara, or Blizzaga on each one, starting the smallest rock (middle), then going to the medium rock (right), and finally the largest rock (left). 5. Head back towards the exit to the World Map, hugging the western wall (do not take the path to the moogle nest). Look for a large pink flower. Cast Holy on it. It will turn into a Hot Spot. Drop your chalice in it to get the mystery element.
The mystery element offers no status ailment protection like the other elements, but as long as you have it, you can pass freely through any miasma stream. If you switch to another element accidentally, you'l have to go back to the Lynari Desert and change it back, but you won't have to repeat each step- the Hot Spot will still be there.

In The Lynari Desert, and Conall Cuarach you can find orichalirum from the Zus (the big fat birds in which you can cast gravity to make them vurnrible to all magic attacks and have less hp.) in the lynari desert, and the Behemoths (the very powerful magic dogs with a thunder tail in conall curach. Orichalirum can be sold for 4000 gil, or can be used in the diamond armor, legendary weapon, celestial weapon, pixie's earring, lunar weapon and etc. Orichalirum is a grand metal.

Meteor parasite beat in less than 20 min!

Make sure you have Thundaga fused and a magic of at least 40!!! I cannot stress this enough! On the first part (meteor parasite) go to the bottom left area of the screen. edge your way up just close enough that you won't get poisoned but so that when the wormy thing can't smack you. Also, the flowery thing won't be able to poison you. It'll take a little while to find this little spot but it is invluable. Thundaga the crap out of it. about 12-18 hits and you'll go to the next phase. Stand in between the two rocks and wait for the parasite (wormy thing) to come out. Cast Thundaga then run back. The parasite will make a move like it's swinging at nothing but it's really casting a 2.5 - 4 heart attack. And as an added bonus you get knocked down. Run back, wait for the motion then go in between the two rocks. Thundaga it again. About three to five hits later depending on your magic strength it will retreat into the clam-like shelter. DEFEND OR YOU WILL BE FROZEN!! It does this twice before the parasite comes back out. Rinse, lather, repeat, on to the third stage. Make sure you have cure because you will most likely be hit. Assign a phoenix down if needed. Ok go all the way to the left where there will be a rock pillar. hide behind it and cast, you guessed it, Thundaga on the evil flower thing. KILL IT!! VERY IMPORTANT!! You will see little blue-tipped tentacle things surrounding a sort of opening. These shoot out some kind of explosive that is impossible to track where it strikes. This is where cure comes in. However, you are safe behind the pillar, Until the meteor parasite comes back out. Do what you did in the second phase (attack, run, attack) until it retreats. go back to your little hiding spot, heal if needed, then destroy the flower thing if it has respawned by now. Rinse lather repeat BOOM! you win... or do you? get ready for serious frustration.

By fifth year, youshould be able to got he the Lynari Desert island. Gurdy, after five encounters, gives you a poem:

In the end shall bloom a flower Sacred light reveals its power[/C] --These are clues on how tom activate the hot spot for the unknown element. once in lynari, 1)Find the magicite for fire, blizzard, thunder, and life. (rings work too) 2)Head to the NW corner of the first area, use lightning on the cactus. 3)Go East, till you reach a fallen tent. Make gravity and use it on the tent. 4)Hug the East cliff, untill you see a spike coming up, and another coming down, but the top one is tilted, it vaguely resembles a mushroom. Cast fire on it, and if it doesn't work, look for another formation. 5)Head back to the cactus, and the three stones come into play. Cast blizzard on them in increasing size order (top middle, lower right, distant left). 6)Heas along the east wall, until you find a glowing white-ish pink flower, create holy and use this on the flower. --The flower turns into a white hot-spot, and when the chalice is puton it, a message saying "the chalice's element is now unknown." You can pass through any stream, incluging the golden one, with this element. This is also what the guy in sulla was talking about as the "ruling element"[C=]

For the person who said PD don't work in single player, they do. You put them in your combat list where you put fire and thunder etc. When u die you'll be revived with half your hp. Everything else is good info.

in every town there is a secret little item. in tipa (your hometown)-its in the bushes at the top left corner of the town; marrs pass-its in the well near the bottom entrance; leuda-its in the bushes to the left of the old lady in the beginning. Explore the other towns and see what you can find! i've even got rare crafting materials like a hard shell and other stuff, plus even if you dont need the item you can go and sell it right away in the town. Ryan kicks ass.

Get the ultimate weapons

There are 2 ultimate weapons for each race: the Ultima weapon and the ones that are each one exclusive for each race. Ultima Weapon- This is going to be a difficult one if you're a poor guy. You need to have a Lv.9 Alchemist parent (you level up by talking to each member of your family at the end of each year), Lv.3 Blacksmith parent and a Lv.3 Merchant parent. First get from your Alchemist father the scroll for the "Greatest Weapon", now buy Ultimite from the Lv.3 Merchant father for 50000 gil, now take those materials to the Lv.3 Blacksmith father and craft your weapon. Anyone can wield this weapon, but it looks the same as the Novice Weapon and does the same crappy Focus Attack. It has the same attack level as the Lunar Weapon, Dark Weapon, Celestial Weapon and only for Yukes the Legendary Weapon. Every time you hit a monster with the Ultima Weapon it will get stunned.
Dark Weapon-Ragnarok THIS WEAPON IS EXCLUSIVE FOR CLAVATS. Get the scroll by beating the Boss at Rebena Te Ra and getting a high score like 230 or more. Even if you reach the 230+ score, theres only a 1 in 4 chance of getting it.
Celestial Weapon-Gungnir THIS WEAPON IS EXCLUSIVE FOR LILTIES. Get the scroll by beating the boss at Mt. Kilanda and getting a score of 200 or more. The same as with Ragnarok, you have a 25% chance of acquiring it.
Lunar Weapon-Dream Catcher THIS WEAPON IS EXCLUSIVE FOR SELKIES. Get the scroll from the boss at Conall Curach and get a score of 240 or more. You have a 25% chance of getting the scroll.
Legendary Weapon-Mystic Hammer I know...this weapon is not exclusive for Yukes, but its the Ultimate Weapon for them, because for other races, the Lgd. Wpn. has only a power of 33+, but for Yukes it has 35+ and a special Focus Attack. It's very common, you can get it by beating the Boss at the Lynari Dessert and getting a score of 30 or more, in different places in chests, etc.

another place is the first course u ever play the river belly path (excuse my spelling) the first enemy u see will be carrying a pheonix down kill hm and leave do this as many times as desired. it can work at both places but i perfer river belly path. also if u get alot of pheonix downs u can sell them to make alot of money i really cant remember how much they sell for but happy gaming!!!!!
p.s it will take a while to get the desired amount

go to multiplayer mode(so u use your gameboy)and look on the gameboy for the map.you will see paths that lead to dead ends(in most citys)go to the dead-ends and they will most likely be moogle houses.(you dont have to ave 2 players to o multiplayer mode)

To get infinity level-ups in stats, continue doing levels even if the myrrh is used up. You can still get the artifacts from the levels, and the level stays the same difficulty, but the artifacts get [U]better[/U] and [U][B]better[/B][/U]! I'm still on year [U]1[/U], and I've got an artifact that was a [U][B]+5 strengh[/B][/U]!!!!!

if you have a pheonix down in your selection box(where you put magicite) when you die the pheonix down will automatically resurrect you. also i found the best way to beat most bosses (especially the one at kilanda) is to have all pheonix downs except for a cure and just use your regular attack.

Instead of magicite, which dissappears at the end of a level, you can get rings, which stay with you. For example, [C=]Blizzard ring[/C] can be found at Veo lu sluice, and [C=]cure ring[/C] at Connal Curach, the catch is that it is hard to find. you can try to get lucky and find it, or you can get a very high score, thus making it available instead of getting an artifact.

when you're facing a way hard boss(like final boss) equip cure then the rest are phoenix down that way if you die phoenix down revives you(use cure alot, its how i beat the final boss.

You shock a cactus with Thunder, and you will know which one because when you go beside it it will say "This seems special" or something like that, I cant find the mushroom

The best sword of the Clevats is a weapon called Ragnarok. You can find this in Rebena Te Ra. The design for this is called Dark Weapon.
The best weapon for the Lilties is called the Longinus and you can find the design for this at Mount Kilanda. (forgot design name)(sry)
You can find the Yukes best weapon Mystic Hammer at River Belle Path and the design for this is the legendary weapon .
The Selkies best weapon is called the Dream Catcher and you can find the design for this baby at Conall Curach . The design for this is called the lunar weapon .
of course, all of the races' greatest wepons include the ultima wepon, but i got their unique wepon too... coz of the miasma crystals in mt vellenge (the unique wepons do psionic attacks) and coz well... i can do icestrike/flamestrike/thunderstrike
ps. the unique and ultima wepons have the same attack

Ok first of all go to Veu Lu Suice its the place with the watter places in it and some weird lizard monsters(EASY) ok when u get ot the boss hes the guy that shoots lasers and has a little face on his chest. when u kill him u should get a blizzard ring which lets u use blizzard spell any time u want!!!!
