Okay, here's a list of pets you can get from different places:
Cat: Sometime in year two, you will wake up after your wife. Romana will be standing outside your door. She will tell you that she found a stray cat on her doorstep, and will ask you if you want it. You do not have to be friends with her, but you must know her.
Lizard: In year one, give Mukumuku, the big, white, fluffy monster by the Harvest Sprites' house, a fish and some flowers. People say you only need to give him a fish once, but that didn't work for me. So give him fish and flowers every day, and he'll probably give you a lizard.
Raccoon: Befriend Vesta or Marlin, and eventually you will get a raccoon.
Ducks: Get a pond in year one. Sometime in year two, you will wake up before your wife, and she will tell you that there ducks in the pond. Trust me, you won't regret it. Those ducks are CUTE! They don't lay eggs, however.

Sometime at the end of year 1 (or the beginning of year 2),your horse will just snort bitterly when you talk and pet it.To make your horse be in a happy mood again,you will need to grow an apple tree and give your horse the apples everyday.

Be fren with Romana by giving her some stuff, but dun give her when she is sitting, she won't accept it. After u befren with her go to her room while she is there, she will give u the Watering Can W, this can water 9 crops at the same time.

Befriend with Romana, give her a gift but not when she's sitting on chair or reject yours. after that she will give a Wonderful watering can which spray 9 crops at once

Get a pond in year one and in year two wake up after your wife and she will tell you there are ducks in the pond. She will ask you if you can keep them and if you say yes then you will. If you want baby ducklings then you must have chickens. The reason for this is that ducks will not lay eggs so the duck eggs will appear under the chickens and just put it into the incubator and you should have ducklings in about a few days.[C=][CENTER][IMG][I]

Get a Turtle

To get a turtle befriends with the artist [C=]Cody[/C] woh lives near Turtle swamp. After a while of talking to him and giving him stuff he will give you a picture. After he gives you the picture wait until the Turtle and Cody are nxt to Turtle swamp and fish there. You will enter a mini-clip where you start to drown. Cody and the Turtle will sae you. Afterwards he will give you the turtle.
