First You need the Rainbow Wing (Ho-oh) Silver Wing (Lugia) once you save the radio tower from team rocket the president will come and give you Rainbow Wing and get to the top of tin tower and Ho-oh's there. then after you beat the pokemon league and get to pewter city an old dude the way to the right will give you Silver Wing and then go to Whirl Islands and you'll Find Lugia

how to get Lugia

first you must have a s.s. aqua ticket or a magnet train ticket and your poke gear with a radio.so you go to kanto by s.s. aqua or the magnet train, and then you have to go to Lavender town. go to the big building and talk to a guy to the left of the guy garding the stairs to the second floor. he will give you an up grade for you radio so you can listen to the radio programs in kanto. after you get the up grade go to your poke gear and make sure you have the radio program: poke flute. ok, after you did this then you have to go to Vermilion city. once your there search around to find a sleeping Snorlax, a big bear looking pokemon that is bloking your way to a cave and route 11. so, go to your poke gear and put poke flute on, then exit your poke gear, you should hear the poke flute music. then go in front of the snorlax and press the botton A, a little window should come up a the bottom of your screen and it should say: placed the poke gear near the sleeping snorlax. the snorlax will wake up and you will fight it, you should try to catch it, the best pokeball to watch it with is with a Great or Ultra ball. watch out because the snorlax heals itself with leftovers. after catching it go to the cave infront of you, go through the cave, make sure you have cut, afetr the cave there will be a tree that you can cut, cut it and you will be in Pewter city. find a man walking around and he will give you a Silver wing. so go back to Jhoto, make sure you have surf and whirlpool, then surf to the right top island. use whirlpool to get in,make sure you have strenght and flash. so go into the cave and you will come to 2 ledges that you can jump over, jump over the top one the go up and you will find a latter, climb down and you will be in a cave with water. surf and you will find a water fall, go down the water fall and you will see a little platform, go to it and there will be an entrance, go in it, surf up and you will find Lugia. fight it and catch it, I sugest to save it before you fight it, with about 10 ultra balls, about 5 heavy ball were you can get by giving Kurt in Azalea town a black apricorn and waiting a day till he finishes it. have pokemon form level 50-73 but no more than that because you could kill it, and if you do just turn your game boy of and then on. if you do all of this successfully, you will catch Lugia. I'm sorry, I bet I comfused you, so might want to read over again.

Everybody pay attention cause I'm only gonna say this once... For those of you with the Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal, the same thing happened to a couple of my games. Fortunately, I live next door to a 17-year-old pokemaniac, and this is the answer he gave me: Gold, Silver, and Crystals have "internal save batteries" inside of them that power your games ability to save. Unfortunately, after a certain amount of time (it took mine about 4-5 years), this internal battery will expire-like all other batteries do-corrupting your current save file (in otherwords destroyed it), and making it basically impossible to save your game, leaving it a useless piece of game hardware. This battery can be replaced (also like all other batteries), making your game usable again. I am assuming this battery is hard to find, so look around at eletronics stores and the internet. If you do have this battery replaced, make sure it is done by somebody with fairly good welding skills.
(note:Gold, Silver, and Crystal are the only games with these internal save batteries, so don't worry about this happening to any of your other games)

When you get surf, go back to your moms house and there should be a lake right by ]it. Surf on it, and in a when you get to shore, a guy will say, "do you know what you just did? You just took your first steps into Kanto. Check your map" or something like that. By the way, does anyone know how to just FURTHER into kanto? please! Im stuck!

First go to pc then deposit a pokemon. When it says Saving...do not turn off power,turn your GBC off and on again and go to pc and youll see a clone of a pokemon withdrawl it a you will have two of a kind!
Note: This cheat will only work on any poken but on time. If done on same pokemon your GBC will not work. This cheat works on any pokemon game

all you do is this go to a pokemon cetere and save in front of pc after that deposit the pokemnon you wont to clone/double and change the box when it says saving do not turn off the power turn it off in the middle of the sentence. turn it on again and the pokemon you deposted should be in you party but there is the same pokemon in the pc as well so you have two try it when you get one of the starters note; this cheat does not work for pokemon crystal i have it but it does not work ok so thats the ends

Once you beat lance and the elite 4 you get the master ball from professor Elm give it to one of your pokemon then duplicate that one pokemon 3 times so once you finished duplicating your pokemon you will see three of the same with three master balls!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! trust me I told my friend and he has all three

(you must have the HM whirlpool to get this, and you must have the silver feather) in Asagi you will surf down, but do not go to TANBA. you will see 4 islands which is the whirlpool islands. first you will see two islands. the first island is on the upper part and the second island is in the lower part. you will go to the lower part the island and go deep into the cave and you will find lugia(he is at level 70).
