To unlock the mines, you have to go to the mine site after 9:00p.m. when no one is there. if no one is there Carter will appear and tell you he thinks he has just found a mine. Then he will ask if you have a hammer. You automatically say yes. He will find the spot and then will ask you to hit it as hard as you can. A few seconds later you have opened the first mine. There are 4 mines in all, but to unlock the others, you must clear (make it to the bottom of the 1st mine) to unlock the 2nd mine. And so on.

any season on saturday (not festivables) go inside galens and nina's house after 11am (wait till both are inside) make sure you've got no tools equiped, galen will give you the rod. NOW FISH AND SAVE THE SPRITES!!!!!!

In order to find Leia the mermaid, befriend Daryl by giving him colored grass. Then he'll let you into his basement where Leia is. She likes large fish and sashimi, but it doesn't matter, because when you meet her, the affection points are 3000! Of course she'll lose interest by over 1000 points a day! Her birthday is Summer 30. Before proposing, call Gotz the Woodcutter and get a Pond installed.

These are the Harvest sprites you need to find to unlock the casino.
To unlock the casino you must find Roller. To find Roller walk across the bridge twards Vesta's farm and Roller will appear. (it might have to be on Spring 8th but it may be diffrent on your game)Roller runs the Medal Exchange.
Press "a" in front of the fountain outside of Romana's mansion and Jum will appear. Jum runs the Memory game table.
Press "a" in front of the blue bar and Hops will appear. Hops runs the poker table.
Press "a" in front of the stove to the left of the Inner Inn and Tep will appear. Tep runs the Blackjack table.
These are other Harevst sprites I have found.
To unlock the Radio channels.....
Order at least 1 item from Karen's supermarket for 10 days straight and to unlock the shopping network and a sprite.

on the first day around 11 am go to the grandpas house and hell give you a fishing rod then go fishing the next morning before 7 and youll catch fish ship them and then youll earn LOTS of money.
