Quickly run under him, stomp the peg, and run towards the Seesaw Bridge. Near the stompable pegs and the Goombas, is a Little Throwing Box. Run up to the Chain Chomp and paralyze him with the box. Run under him, and stomp the peg one last time to release the Star.

Go to the courtyard where all the Boo ghosts are located. Get close to the statue of the star and press C-Up to look. You can see that the statue reads "[U][I][B]L is Real 2045[/B][/I][/U]." this may mean that there are 2045 coins in the came. the L might mean lura which is the currency in italy and mario is italian and created in italy. You have to be in the clock place in order to do this glitch. First, everything must not be albe to move to do this. When you first appear in the place, go to the ledge that is under the other two. Do a somersault and hit the edge of the ledge x2. You back and head should be on the ground not being able to get up. You can still do all that other stuff. The music changes also to something similar to the one of those horror movie music.

During the first fight with Bowser, avoid him and collect all the coins that appear. After a considerable amount of time, you should be able to collect 1000 coins. At this point, a green "M" will appear next to the number of lives remaining. From this point on, when a life is lost, the number of lives increases. The reverse is also true - gaining lives will actually lower the number of lives remaining. The cheat will end if the number of lives reaches zero, such as when Yoshi gives Mario 100 lives after obtaining 120 stars. The North American version only allows 999 coins to be collected.

When you are racing Koopa The Quick in the Bob-Omb Battlefield look for the big hole in the mountain. Go in all the way in the middle. It will take you up almost to the top and it saves a lot of time. You can take a shortcut by using the warp in the flowerbed to the other flowerbed near the entrance to the mountain. It will give you a big advantage over Koopa The Quick. Instead of going through the rolling boulders to get to the top of the mountain, go up the grassy hill appears to be impossible to climb. It may seem longer but it actually does not. You can use this and the teleporter when racing Koopa The Quick.

Bomb-omb Battlefield: Shell challenge

Go forwards over the first bridge you see to find a fenced-in area with a cannon. On the other side of the fence, look for three Goombas and a Koopa. Koopa will not appear if you have not selected the right star before you actually entered the level. Kill the Koopa and take the shell. Be careful not to hit anything or you will lose it. The shell will not disappear until you hit anything, so you can "surf" forever and can jump with it. On the shell, carefully follow the path that goes through the Bow-wows yard over the tipping bridge and jump over the steps that lead to the field. Weave around the Bob-ombs and dodge the water bombs. Go slowly through the metal bar gate and take a sharp right. Get past the rolling balls and try to make it up the mountain. This is possible.

Collect it and you should collect the others. Now you should be holding Mario hat.
